2018XC: Day 5, July 16, Kentucky

We said our goodbyes to the Zimmerman family as they packed up their camper to head home to North Carolina. But since every goodbye goes best with funny pictures and ice cream, how can you skip that?

On our way to the camp store for ice cream we stopped for some funny photo-ops.

Got to the camp store just in time to avoid the downpour.

Love the crepe myrtles in the South.

We said farewell to the Zimmerman’s for now.

Later in the day, we were able to take advantage of a few hiking trails around the campground, enjoy nature, and stumble across some cool stuff.
